Filling an area of about 5 square miles, Eastchester real estate may have been settled in 1664 but its best days may lie ahead if recent growth is any indication: the city has grown by nearly 5% since 2000!
Eastchester’s 19,500 residents enjoy excellent amenities, including a bevy of shops and restaurants and owners of Eastchester real estate are drawn by the attractive suburbs with carefully tended lawns, pleasing neighborhoods and excellent schools. Eastchester residents have a quick commute into Manhattan, whether by automobile or via Metro-North rail service. Flanked by the Hutchinson River Parkway and the Bronx River Parkway, and with Route 22 (Post Road/White Plains Road) running through it, Eastchester enjoys easy access to the rest of the county.
